A typical room setting: a 1990s 'loft' apartment

The Geffrye Museum is the museum of the English domestic interior. Our work there was the re-display of both the eight established period roomsets dating from 1600 to 1900, located in the existing Grade 1 almshouses, and also four new rooms located in a new-built extension, ranging from an Arts & Crafts parlour to a 1990’s warehouse conversion 'loft' apartment (pictured above).

We provided all interpretation features, including illustration artwork for graphic panels and an interactive research room. The five-year £3m project was opened in phases and completed at the end of 2000.
